The Tone Alchemy Difference: The Mid-Range Power Switch

What truly sets the Apex Muff apart is the integrated 3-way midrange toggle switch. This powerful feature solves the most common issue with the classic Muff circuit—the signature mid-scoop that can get lost in a band mix. With a flick of a switch, you can instantly choose between three distinct voicings:

• Mid Scoop (Stock): The classic, thunderous, scooped-mid tone that defined the Big Muff sound.
• Flat Mids: A more neutral, present tone that brings your guitar forward.
• Mid Boost: A powerful hump in the midrange, perfect for cutting through any mix for solos and articulate rhythm parts.

Controls:

• Volume: Controls the overall output level.
• Tone: A highly effective control that pans between a high-cut and low-cut filter, offering a huge range of sonic textures.
• Sustain: Controls the amount of fuzz/distortion and epic, violin-like sustain.
• Mids Toggle: Selects between Mid Scoop, Flat Mids, or Mid Boost tone profiles.
